Meet Grace Tushingham

Grace Tushingham is an oboist recognised for her versatility as a soloist and orchestral musician. She is a recipient of the Sir Elton John Award and has performed concerto repertoire including Marcello and Lebrun, as well as the Strauss Oboe Concerto with the Royal Forest of Dean Orchestra. She has appeared with ensembles including Cardiff Chamber Orchestra, Regency Sinfonia, and the Young Musicians Symphony Orchestra.

Tushingham has worked under conductors such as Sir Mark Elder and Ryan Wigglesworth, and has participated in a side-by-side project with Riot Ensemble. She is noted for her refined musicality and expressive clarity, with performances described as demonstrating elegance and wit.
